Multimedia installation (sculpture, drawings, and props) by which we sought to explore the questions: “Is
it possible to document performance art? Does the original aura and potency of the work get lost through
recreation and documentation?” During the course of one week, both Dunlap and I alternatively, with our handling gloves and hand gestures, would help present to the viewer the shuffling pages of our handmade catalog. Being inside of this structure, and not being able to see the viewers helped us realize then, that this too was an inescapable cycle of the performative act.
